Hilary spreads her time between different countries and different activities.
She has worked in business consultancy, supporting retailers and brands to improve working conditions in the factories and farms where their products are made. She has also worked in Christian ministry, travelling to deliver training in churches on prayer ministry and listening to God’s voice.
She’s delivered training in Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, Mozambique, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and UK.
She mentors and prays with those who are working for NGOs and ministries and runs reflection spaces for individuals and groups.
She runs a monthly retreat online for Micah Global, an umbrella organisation for Christian NGOs involved in development, aid and advocacy. Members join from all over the world to look at scripture together, take time out to reflect and pray for each other.
She runs a retreat week at Penhurst Retreat Centre in Sussex, UK each summer, you can find details here.

In Zambia, she delivered training for NGO workers and pastors from DRC, Zambia and Malawi, for the E3 Initiative.
She’s led retreat days for small NGO teams in Cape Town, including City Mission and Tree of Life, as well as new year retreats for groups of individuals each year. In the UK, she’s also been part of a team of two to lead a retreat for ordinands with St Mellitus College.
She lives between Cambridge and Cape Town and is a member of a evangelical, charismatic Anglican Church in both places: Holy Trinity Church in Cambridge and Church of the Holy Spirit, Kirstenhof in Cape Town.
